Classes of Manuscripts:

The chief Editor Secretly will consider for publication in the Journal manuscripts which describe original work not previously published and if accepted, must not be published in any other journal unless permission is received from the Chief Editor of this Journal. Three classes of manuscripts are recognized:

(a) Articles of full papers, which give a concise account of the author's work in one of the fields of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering.They should be addressed to specialists with the intention of increasing their knowledge in the field in which the research lies.

The authors are required to give a brief summary of their articles not exceeding 350 words stating the objective of the work and its important results. It is also required to give an abstract of the article in Arabic.

(b) Review articles in the fields of biophysics and biomedical engineering.

(c) Same rules as articles of research work.

General Instructions for Authors

1. Footnotes are to be avoided as much as possible.

   2. Whenever possible, authors should arrange their material in well-defined sections:

Abstract, Introduction, Experimental, Results, Discussion, References, and Arabic summary.

References:

References should be listed according to their appearance in the text, numbered consecutively and typed after the text.

They are to include initials of the authors and be arranged and punctuated as follows:

1-Cromwell, Nil., J, Am. Chem. Soc. 69,258 (1947) . In the text, the references appear by name of the author followed by the number e.g.; Cromwell (1).

References to books must include the name of the author, title publisher, date of publication, and page, as follows:

Shreve, R.N., "The Chemical Processes Industries", McGraw - Hill Book Company Inc., New York, 81 (1945).

Abbreviations                                    

The names of periodicals should be abbreviated according to the most recent list of periodicals abstracted by Chemical and physical Abstracts.

For economy, abbreviations rather than words are to be used such as: cm, mm, m, km, cc, ml, g, kg, mg, min, hr, m.p, rpm, cal., kcal, %, Fig.

Tables                                         

Tables should appear in the manuscript as near as possible to the place where they are referred to in the text. They should not be used discriminately as they are more expensive than running the text.

Figures and Graphs

All lines should be of sufficient thickness to reproduce well.

Proofs

Proofs should be checked by the author against the manuscript. It is undesirable to make any change in the original text.

Reprints                                     

Authors are entitled to 25 with fifteen covers. Additional reprints may be purchased and must be ordered as soon as the paper has been accepted for publication.

The Journal shall own the work, including 1) copyright; 2) the right to grant permission to republish the article in whole or in part, with or without fee; 3) the right to produce preprints or reprints and translate into languages other than English for sale or free distribution; and 4) the right to republish the work in a collection of articles in any other mechanical or electronic format.

We give the rights to the corresponding author to make necessary changes as per the request of the journal, do the rest of the correspondence on our behalf and he/she will act as the guarantor for the manuscript on our behalf.

All persons who have made substantial contributions to the work reported in the manuscript, but who are not contributors, are named in the Acknowledgment and have given me/us their written permission to be named. If I/we do not include an Acknowledgment that means I/we have not received substantial contributions from non-contributors and no contributor has been omitted.
